Only if the SET CARRIER-WATCH OFF command is issued.
Then from the perspective of the SERVER command the
client never goes away.

This was a bug that should have been fixed in C-Kermit 7.0.
you implement this with
while true {
set host * port /raw
if success server
close connection
}
